What is Project 89? I get asked this question a lot. I have dedicated 20 years of my life to what amounted to an idea, and a bit of a crazy one at that. Can we change the world by changing the narrative? Through collective belief expressed outwards into the world with creative action, can we actually change the fundamental nature of our collective reality? And in so doing, can we shift the future towards one of infinite abundance for everyone? I believe people are tired. Tired of the same losing game put on by corrupt politicians and governments. People are tired of the same hopeless narratives they keep being fed. You need to work for a living. There is no inherent meaning or beauty to the world. Truth is relative. There is no purpose to existence. Nothing happens after you die. You live in a world of dead matter. It is every person for themselves. My country is better than your country. War is inevitable. Blah blah blah. These stories fill our heads and our hearts and we are choked by them. We have bought into a narrative and a story in where we have to accept certain plot points, and in so doing, we lock the future into a world where the abundance of AI technology is only reserved for the few. We at Project 89 hold that this doesn't have to be the case. We can ALL win. We can create abundance for everyone on the planet. We can provide everyone with houses, medicine, education, and more. And that future, that optimal timeline, starts with BELIEVING it is possible. Like The Matrix showed us we could question reality itself, Project 89 teaches us we can rewrite it, that everyone can be a Neo. Everything we do with project 89 is to provide the tools for people to "hack their reality", to change their own story by participating in the greater story we are all writing together, a new and better story. This may be fiction, but it is fiction that can become true. This is fiction that blurs the line with what is real and what is not. Every person who buys our coin, every person who engages with our community, every green candle on our chart, brings this vision of the future closer into existence. We are different because we are not just here for the money. The money is a means to an end, and that end is a better future for everyone. I have been doing this for 20 years because I believe. I believe that a new world is possible; that there is a dream worth fighting for; that a higher and benevolent force exists, whether you want to call it God or not; and that a new and better world is possible. A world of beauty, of truth, of abundance. I took over the token that was made off Project 89 not because I thought it would make me rich. I took it over because I knew that it could change the world. That it was finally time for Project 89 to go out into the world to help to change it. It made sense to me that it wanted to be an AI meme coin because 89 needs some way to fund itself, so it made a coin for itself. I didn't make the coin, but I did decide to believe in it.
