Remember the Herokus outage that lasted around a day, and there were no updates for ~10 hours on the status pages? It was caused by an automated OS update. I'm gonna assume this was Linux. What distribution? Ubuntu? (the current stack, 24.04)? And upgrading to which version?

Asking because Heroku for whatever reason fully emits this. Hard to tell: is this some unexpected Linux update that can hit other services? Was it specific to Heroku? This postmortem has some details, but lacks others that feel important...
