Some quick thoughts on the Espresso presale… I was actually interested at first.. first launch on Kaito Capital sounded promising. But the more I looked into it, the more I backed off. Hype’s already dead. If this is supposed to be the flagship launch, shouldn’t there be some buzz? Not even showing up in top mindshare lately and that’s a red flag for me. Valuation? $400M. Feels insanely overpriced for a token that hasn’t even launched yet. This isn’t 2021, we’re in a completely different environment now. Most projects barely hold $100M caps after launch.. this one’s trying to start at 4x that? And the unlocks are brutal. You get zero at TGE. 1-year cliff for 50%, and then linear for another year. Basically you’re buying now, and hoping this thing even survives till 2026 to see your bags. I’d rather buy it on-chain later if it holds up probably get it cheaper too tbh. So yeah, I’m skipping this one. Not saying it won’t do well, but this presale ain’t it for me.
