According to reports from the Korean News Agency, South Korea's Lotte Card Company has completed 36 trademark registration applications related to native Korean won-pegged stablecoins, including brand names and codes. The applied trademarks include WONBIT, KTOKEN, LOCAMONEY, and others. The company stated that it will leverage its extensive payment network and advantages in foreign tourist platforms to explore the application prospects of native stablecoins in areas such as used cars, real estate, and precious metals.
