After building in stealth for 3 months, excited to share my new project Bug0 @bug0inc. 👋 Here's why I'm working on it. At @hashnode, one of our biggest problems was QA. Developers don't want to do QA. Hiring dedicated QA wasn't an option. So, every developer always did basic sanity testing manually before shipping. We had a few e2e tests covering critical user flows, but as a fast-growing team, our tests were often old and outdated. Another major issue was flakiness. Every time tests failed, the team wasn't sure if it was an actual regression or just a flaky test. We broke important user flows like onboarding several times because of this inefficient process. 😅 Last quarter, my co-founder and I stepped back and decided to solve this for good. It's 2025. What if we could use AI to automatically generate and maintain tests with a fraction of the effort? So we built @bug0inc. The idea is simple: Use AI to automate browser testing. But one thing was clear - AI gets 80% right, but humans are still needed to validate accuracy. So we thought, what if we turn this into a lean agency offering AI agents with humans in the loop? Instead of selling hours, we sell an outcome - 100% of critical flows always covered, no matter what! We tested this with a few companies last quarter and I'm excited to share we already have enough paying customers to validate that this is something people want. We got the nice 4-letter domain 🔗 bug0 .com and are excited to introduce it to the world. We're still in closed beta.
