Did you know there is currently no cure for glaucoma? It's a disease that impacts the optic nerve, usually caused by high eye pressure (sometimes induces it). It's known as the "silent thief of sight" due to its gradual progression. It slowly and irreversibly destroys peripheral vision first, which often goes unnoticed. Lost vision cannot be restored. Someone I love is battling this right now and I would give everything in my life to heal it.
I had so many people reach out to me that I became bullish on humanity and most importantly my followers. This shit in life comes out of nowhere. Luckily.. the operation went well. It's about recovery now and basically 100 different eyedrops I never even knew existed. Over five years, I’ve built a following by sharing trade ideas, market insights, and discussing finance, economics, and politics. It’s humbling to know that many, including medical professionals, have benefited from my market takes and of course, shitposts. It wouldn't be twitter without the shitposts obviously. It also reminded me that there are real people from all walks of life that read these tweets and not "CT Degenerate retards" Positivity wins every time.
