When I was 20, I thought ideas were valuable. Now I'm >40 and...nope, they're not. Everyone has ideas. One example: even though the Bitcoin Whitepaper has some brilliant novel ideas in it, the fact that Satoshi subsequently released a (Windows) client, bug fixed, upgraded, ran a cluster to support the early network, and incubated a real community is what set Bitcoin on its path to success.

for every 1000000 idea guys on the internet, there is only 1 guy who can actually show up, take the heat, bear the consequences, and lead with heart, balls and grit. and i will always respect tf out of the latter, regardless of success or failure. grit is priceless.
