Most reward vaults rely on depositors manually staking a receipt token; however, this doesn't suit all protocols. If a protocol wants to incentivize the creation and donation of weaved baskets, this is not possible on chain. Real world data is needed.

This is where the new Reward Vault Utilities come in. Utilities are integrations on top of Proof of Liquidity to allow for BGT distribution to users without requiring them to deposit or otherwise interact with a Reward Vault.

Utilities work like the flow protocols already know - participation in markets earns BGT that can be claimed as a liquid BGT token. Now, the protocol is able to distribute these tokens to participants based on their activity.

Simply put, protocols can now arbitrarily distribute BGT based on any on or offchain criteria- weave baskets, vape, do more. For the first time, anyone building on Berachain can truly incentivize anything.

Utilizing Proof of Liquidity on Berachain to incentivize anything helps protocols to spend less to grow and reward their user base. Every single vape hit, bong rip, or basket woven counts and allows users to be rewarded for doing things they normally couldn't.
