There is absolutely no such thing as free money, not even in crypto. There is ALWAYS, at the very least, an opportunity cost. What does this mean? It means if I have 1 hour of my day that I can allocate to something, I have to forgo allocating it to something else. It means if I have $10 that I can get 5% annual yield on starting TODAY, I can't also at the same time allocate that $10 to something else that has a variable or uncertain return rate that is implied at some point in the future. If I allocate it to the latter, I have chosen not to allocate it to the former. Both with your time and with your money, you can only be one place at once. *For the akshually reply guys, yes, I can enter into derivatives of derivatives of derivatives of that initial position (if I'm willing to take on that risk), but that initial $10 can only be allocated to one starting point at once.
