I think the unfortunate part of the whole PV situation is that you really did have a very talented team and very very committed team - no doubts there. But web3 is just so public and hard to detach from past narratives that the turnaround is near impossible. Huge L for ecosystem holders. A lot of money wrapped up in assets that are now in a limbo of the outgoing company and whoever takes over / acquires PV. The diamond in the rough here (the moonshot) is that just like with Pudgy Penguins the right acquisition team / leader can turn things around very dramatically. Will be watching closely to see who steps in and what the board of PV is likely to entertain as there is a lot of IP and gaming potential here and web3 still has not had its breakout moment for either of these. Ideally Laz and Bane look for an operator that can move this into greener pastures and find a way to return assets to healthier prices and demand.
