Ben.eth raised over $20M through presales in 2023 with tokens like $BEN and $PSYOP. He's attempting another, but so far has only raised 3.7 ETH from around 100 participants. If you're thinking about participating, I assume you haven't heard of Ben. Here's his story 1/🧵

2/ In 2023, Ben.eth had no prior recognition in the space. He used a grail BAYC pfp and all-caps posts to gain visibility on the timeline. After building a following, he launched several presales in quick succession, bringing in 8 figures worth of ETH.

3/ First he launched $BEN. Then $PSYOP. Then $LOYAL. There were smaller ones that I probably don't remember and honestly, I'm glad I don't. If you're wondering how those tokens are doing, they all look like this (or worse).

4/ Some flippers made money, but the truest believers were all burned. You know who wasn't burned? Ben, whose public ENS still boasts a balance of over two thousand ether and a collection of grail NFTs. Two THOUSAND ether, and yet every past token is at zero.

5/ So yeah, Ben is back. And yeah, it's kind of funny that he snagged Threadguy's ENS. But I shouted it from the rooftops then and I'll keep shouting it now: Do not give this man your money. He doesn't care about you, your bags, or his own tokens.

6/ Luckily, the meta has changed and Ben hasn't adapted. His audience from last cycle are largely wiser from having been burned, he didn't spend time cultivating a new audience, and worst of all, presales have moved to token launchers like Pump. Ben didn't respect the meta.
