The highest paid marketer in crypto is earning $850,000. Base pay. Yesterday I was engagement baiting about CMO comp so @madladshad made a salary survey. Enough misinformation. This is what CMOs actually earn. 👇

So far 152 people completed the survey. Average base: $121K USD Median: $102K Lowest: $1k but that might have been an error (I really hope) There were only four extremely high earners ($600-850k), all CMOs / Heads of Marketing.

Most importantly, CMOs are not all earning $400k. CMO is the most saturated job title submitted for the survey. CMOs had a mean base of $237,347/year, and median of $140,000

The gap by location is brutal. American frens are coining it (expected). Our comrades in India in particular are the most punished (unexpected). In India earning under $20k was pretty common.

Experience varies. More experience is better, but seems to cap out at 10 years.
