We've seen some noise about some Investment Banks having poor bonus seasons (although yes the Goldman discount is real tbh) - but we're not really seeing that on @Buyside_Hub . We're seeing IB Analysts out of school getting paid pretty handsomely. Details below
Yeah I mainly collect Buyside data, but I get Analyst through MD data coming in all the time. We're unintentionally LOADED with Investment Banking compensation data. Sure, unfortunately some IB Analysts still have <$100k bonuses, but then we see top IB Analysts cracking $200k+ right out of school.
But seeing of "$200k+" - how about being a VP huh? Pretty much all of their bases & bonuses have 2-handles - with some 3 handles in there pushing them into the mid 500s as well - not bad for an average work experience of ~6.4 years I haven't shared the best parts - but like i said, we are unintentionally loaded with IB compensation data
