1/ This thread will show you the exact steps of how I racked up 6.2M impressions in the last 30 days, and how I grew @KaitoAI smart follower percentage from 2% to 10%, and got to the top of the @infinex leaderboard.

2/ I don't have a big account, but I try my best to punch above my weight. It all started on May 25 when I noticed my engagement was really low. I thought, maybe the issue is with the composition of my followers and I didn't quite hook the reader in with content.

3/ I was right. I got a subscription to Circleboom and started pruning my followers. In that initial cut, I accomplished the following: Removed Followers: From 11,437 ➡️ To 7,428 Stopped Following: From 3,141 ➡️ To 1,310

4/ What did I do? I removed... ❌ bot followers ❌followers who had private accounts ❌followers who were not crypto interested I unfollowed... ❌brand accounts ❌bots ❌inactive accounts

5/ Doing this impacted my Kaito smart follower percentage bigly. It initially went from 2% to 7% then to 10.2%. Since then, I've racked up more followers and now it's sitting at 9.17%.

6/ I noticed almost immediately my "For You" feed was much cleaner and more relevant. Then I started to notice engagement was up. April 25 - May 24: 3.8% May 25 - June 25: 4.6%

7/ Then I noticed all metrics going up. Profile Visits, Bookmarks, Reposts, Likes, Impressions. Here is data from June 6 to July 5, ~30 days after I started pruning followers and stopped following over 2000 accounts.

8/ Then, I decided I'm going to be more active for the next 30 days. So, I started replying -- thoughtful replies, some AI slop, but mostly good and sincere replies -- to everyone. Not just crypto, but political, sports, everywhere. Then things really got interesting.

9/ Within 30 days, here are my results: Impressions: 354K ➡️ 6.2M Profile Visits: 2.5K ➡️ 8.9K Likes: 3.8K ➡️ 12.1K Reposts: 308 ➡️ 442 Bookmarks: 211 ➡️ 714 Engagements: 16.4K ➡️ 40.8K Engagement Rate: 4.6% ➡️ 0.6% Everything went up, except for engagement rate.

10/ Some key learnings: 1⃣Being a Reply guy works. I'll keep doing it. 2⃣I will keep pruning, monthly, my followers. 3⃣Anecdotally, having a high smart follower % I think makes a big difference in getting Kaito Yaps. I'm pretty sure a higher smart follower % makes a big difference for @infinex 4⃣I'm not sure how to think of engagement rate going down. Need to reflect on that since my initial goal was to grow it. 5⃣My posts still struggle to get the amount of replies that other accounts get. Look at @banditxbt and other accounts--hundreds of replies within posting. I want that type of engagement. Need to learn how to do it.
