A lot of people underestimate how powerful rollups can be because they're basing their assumptions off of the previous generation of general purpose EVM-centric rollups which don't allow you to take full advantage of the design space @sovereign_labs and several other next-gen rollup frameworks are close to maturity and when they launch they'll be a wake up call
