infoFi isn’t as bad as everyone says it is. it’s just early and we’re witnessing the real time development of a product where we are the product. that can feel not so great at times 😅 but i can say the feedback being given by all of the critical voices is being taken in to improve InfoFi products. the overall concept is great: reward high signal voices to drive attention and users to protocols. but this has also led to significant spam since there is a disconnect with a high portion of people who post but don’t actually use the products they talk about. i see this changing very soon and it will be on the protocols to run engaging onchain campaigns combined with mindshare. while at the same time, InfoFi projects improving their algorithm to disincentivize obvious spam and low value content. there’s no choice but to improve and i have faith it will.
