One resounding thing we did at Fermah that I learned from working with great web2 folks: In our first iteration, we built our product tailored for our initial customers @zksync and @Scroll_ZKP . The moment we had the third customer, our artificial shortcuts were in the way. We removed them and buttressed our system. This goes back to how Airbnb was built, for example. Peter Thiel talked about this a lot: obsess over the first few, and expand from there.

Some things don't change, just because you are in crypto. People still need faster things. People still need cheaper things. People still need easier things. People still need truly value-additive things. Let the ego not come in between us learning from successful web2 product people.
