Had a few heated discussions on Twitter this week, but know this: Even when I criticize others in blockchain, I have a lot of respect for many out there. Let me mention: * Bitcoin maxis, filteroors, no-catters, anti-spammers for their unbelievable dedication and devotion to the one thing that matters most -- Bitcoin as decentralized freedom enhancing resistance money. * Ethereum leaders for their principles, innovations and ability to translate values into blockchain protocols, and for their attempts to focus on human values and what they imply. * Solana leaders for their ability to execute efficiently on scale, performance, biz and adoption, expanding the capitalist and efficiency seeking aspect of blockchain. I also like the no-bullshit-lets-get-things-done approach. * Arbitrum for being the purest technological implementation of optimistic rollups, going the whole length to make it work. * Optimism for being true friends and supporters of Ethereum and thinking about Ethereum first * RiscZero, Nexus, Miden, Hermez and Polygon0 for innovating on zkSTARK technology and pushing the boundaries. * Zcash (obviously, I'm a founding scientist and its based on my research) for being the first to show ZK is for privacy, and spearheading the privacy-first approach. So even when talking about what I perceive as crucial elements and what I think is the right way to do things, I admire the other players in the field and they're building a lot of amazing things.
