Prosecution Rests Its Case in Tornado Cash Trial Yesterday, IRS Special Agent George continued his testimony and we saw more emails people sent to Storm, while the defense highlighted that failing to stop criminal activity is not the same as engaging in unlawful activity. The defense opened its case with Preston van Loon, the Ethereum Core developer that previously sued the Treasury over its OFAC designation, who testified that he used Tornado Cash on several occasions to protect his privacy and security.
