KYC is fundamentally broken, even if the developers made a really bad mistake and made the bucket public, this information should never be in the hands of private/public company. We should do better, with cryptography, proof of personhood and ZK proof of other identity documents

these issues will be a thing of the past. ZK prove you are American and over 18 to enter a dating site, if you care about sybil, prove you are a unique human verified by the orb, etc etc. Much much better than any of this KYC outdated nonsense.

We should also push for a regulatory change for our rulemakers to not require companies to collect this information in order to provide these services. Most of them don't need it for anything.
