A lot of young people want to be great investors but refuse to narrow their scope They are constantly chasing the newest trend: semis, AI, crypto, quantum Just remember that trying to become an expert in everything is the same as being good at nothing Here is my unsolicited advice Pick a niche industry or vertical with 4-5 companies that fall under the bucket Spend ALL of your time studying the industry and these companies. Listen to every earnings call. Read every 10K / 10Q. Attend industry events or conferences if you can. Reach out to industry veterans or experts. Before you know it, you will have become a really good investor in that sector Stop trying to be great at everything. Just narrow the scope and be good at one thing. It is the easiest way to be a great investor
