They will need to raise taxes, and some have proposed unrealized capital gains taxes. They'll start with wealth taxes, but the debt will grow. Bank and governments have set precedents on bail ins and hair cuts. They will do it again. There are still pockets of the world that are left out of the global economy. They cannot get back accounts, or their banks don't transact across borders, or they're cut off from SWIFT. The pendulum is now swinging away from globalism. It's not enterprise blockchains or the "next Bitcoin" (there is no next bitcoin) that will protect you.
