We really need a way to help people understand AI hallucinations. Because X does not have data this granular, and if they did, Grok also wouldn’t have access to it. But it can give convincing hallucinations; and even if you ask Grok in chat mode if this is a hallucination it will flat out tell you that tangible Grok is hallucinating and is not pulling from any data. But that hasn’t stopped this being a viral trend today. This example isn’t dangerous, but the fact people have so little understanding of how to think about the knowledge bounds of AI, is quite troubling!
