I won’t get into specifics but a close friend was trapped in a country during a military coup years ago and borders were shut down. He heard rumors that one specific border crossing was allowing ppl to leave if he could pay a 5 btc toll or 200k usd. Unfortunately PayPal and Venmo don’t allow you to move that much cash around.
