You're relatively late when you enter looking at price, and when you have no clue on the "catalysts" behind the price growth, and how sustainable those catalysts are, you end up growing false hope, over-optimistic targets, and that eventually ends up at 3 things: either you fumble, if you don’t fumble then you round trip, and if you don’t do either of them then you miss out because you're still suffering from PTSD. You can't really put some effort into building clarity around the token, as "price" is the only thing that matters, and you act just based on your emotional mind, eventually "doing it all wrong" while you had the chance to make things right - only if you were not ignorant, only if you made some effort, only if you didn’t get caught up in the loop of "you know everything."
