Quick thoughts on @zora’s app + Coins upgrade, since Jack’s coin ran up to $12mm past few hours so lots of 👀 - The market structure for each “post” being a coin is hard to benchmark. When content is just an image or clip, it’s difficult to build lasting conviction, beyond short-term pumps and dumps, hard to see this be different. For example, if I post a series of dog pics, how would you decide which one should trade higher? What’s the thesis per post? - The idea of creators or big accounts launching a coin by simply posting is cool for short-term visibility. We’ve seen the same with socialfi apps like FT or Arena etc. But long-term, it’s unclear how meaningfully artists will integrate this into their work—same issues we’ve seen with most “artist coins.” Probably being overly critical, hope people enjoy playing with it.
