WATCH: Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, speaking in Hebrew from Ramon Air Base, addressed the Israeli public to explain why he is now being “forced” to allow “minimal humanitarian aid” into Gaza. “Let it be clear that we will achieve our goal and destroy Hamas,” he said. “To defeat Hamas and bring our hostages home, we are continuing both the fighting and the negotiations. In any path we choose, we will be forced to allow the entry of minimal humanitarian aid,” Netanyahu told Israelis—many of whom had brought their children to the border in the last days to physically block aid trucks from entering Gaza.
