"Compliance is the real bottleneck right now" That's what I told @TerezaBizkova at @hackernoon, and honestly it's the most boring truth in crypto. Everyone talks about liquidity problems. but liquidity is only a partial issue - access is a much bigger one. The real problem is gatekeepers. KYC, KYB, local licenses. the people who control money flow in and out. I can't tell you how many times someone tries to go onchain and says "i'm not comfortable with this. never mind…" We need more competition in the compliance layer. more modular, open systems. not just for regulation's sake, but to unlock real usage. When only a handful of entities control that layer, you get monopolies, high fees, friction. Solve compliance and everything else starts moving: OTC flows better, on-ramps become usable, liquidity reaches people who need it. The next wave of progress will come from this work. and i think we're close.
