When I was in college I had an idea for a student debt repayment platform where you spend money irl and get some money back in the form of a rebate sent to your loan lender directly It was a great idea and I still have the patent. I was looking for ways to build it and I came across blockchain. I needed a startup bank account and went to my bank. When I told the bank how I was building this app on blockchain and crypto they not only denied the account, but shutdown my personal bank account as well. Ultimately, the startup failed, but I never left crypto after that day.
