Biked 42 miles across NYC this weekend, mostly along the Manhattan Waterfront Greenway. There are some extraordinary sections. I can't wait for them to complete the whole thing! That said, there are significant parts that are still under construction, with terrible signage and that dump you into all sorts of chaos / confusion / peril. The East Side, where this photo was taken, is pretty much unnavigable. The whole project won't be complete until 2030 (!) if it stays on schedule (unlikely). Would love to see the city release more plans and prioritize safe detours during the interim.
