A limited airdrop conducted today in Gaza delivered less than half a truckload of aid. Gaza authorities said it fell into active combat zones east of Al-Tuffah and Jabalia, where Israeli forces are stationed—areas completely inaccessible to civilians. Humanitarians tell Drop Site that more than 800 trucks a day are needed to stave off catastrophic starvation.

Two videos showing some of today’s airdropped aid: Video 1: Aid lands in areas fully controlled by the Israeli military—tanks and soldiers are present. You can see that people are not running after it. Video 2: Aid falls near the border, where it’s even more dangerous for civilians to reach.
