Crypto loves to alienate anyone with an existing following This is why so many creators today don't want anything to do with the space - it's basically impossible to do it right outside of just buying BTC and investing really passively We all say we want mass adoption and then just completely torture anyone who doesn't have 5+ years of trenching experience or trying to build something from the ground up The default assumption is everyone who's new with a following is a scammer and this is why it cuts both ways and why everyone not in crypto thinks this space is a scam
Another problem is crypto is so over rationally exuberant that so much more capital gets deployed than people know what to do with or how to properly allocate it So you immediately have these crazy unrealistic expectations and yet people wonder why so many creators burn out or leave the space completely Building anything is really really hard and takes a ton of time, trial and error I think as a space we need to be more accepting of that
