Until now, Veo 3 videos couldn’t go beyond the 8 seconds per generation limit. But that just changed. @runwayml has officially rewritten the rules with Aleph (great name, by the way — very Borgesian). Take a look at what I managed to do here: I generated multiple shots with different camera perspectives of the same Kraken attack sequence — from the helmsman’s point of view, from a sailor sinking beneath the waves, from the ship itself as it’s torn apart by a massive tentacle... In total: 38 seconds of video, all built from a single animation. Until now, only Lumalabs let you get different shots from the same scene — but with zero control over the final outcome. It’s been a while since Runway truly surprised me, but with Aleph, they’re back at the very top of the AI video game 🔥

While you’re still assembling IKEA furniture with Veo 3 😉, I’m out here waging large-scale battles and summoning legendary monsters. 📽️ Prompt: The sea goes eerily still during a naval siege — suddenly, a monstrous tentacle erupts through the center of the fleet, pulling ships into a whirlpool — the camera dives below the surface to reveal a kraken’s glowing eye rising from the depths Big thanks to @BasedLabsAI for letting me keep playing with this fantastic tool — hands down the best for epic scenes like these ⚔️🌊🐙
