Bridging is back on every supported network 🧙‍♂️ We're now running a custom @LayerZero_Core OFT system. Simpler UX, stronger backend. Here's what changed ⬇️

Our old bridging setup used Connext, but they have exited the messaging space. That gave us the chance to improve our system, which is now: ✦ More resilient ✦ More decentralized ✦ Capable of higher rate limits ✦ Fault tolerant with no single point of failure

We migrated to a custom LayerZero OFT contract, letting us whitelist multiple messaging services, all of which must agree before a bridge transfer goes through. Each transfer now requires attestations from 2+ independent services.

The Alchemix DAO can disable any individual relay without downtime or otherwise pausing bridging functionality. This means we're no longer at the mercy of any one provider, and users won't feel the impact of infra-level issues.
