@CtrlPew2 Honestly I have to praise the White House on this. This is a huge issue for tech companies everywhere and there have been staffers in USG grinding on this for months. It's a basic civil liberties issue that's dragged for years and Biden completely ignored for his entire term.

@CtrlPew2 Not only did Biden ignore it, the Biden DOJ actually served foreign censorship orders on Americans under the US-Germany MLAT. I note ,with great pride in my country and our system, that those orders have mysteriously stopped being served under new management.

@CtrlPew2 This move by the White House is one of the most praiseworthy free speech efforts undertaken by any President in the last fifteen years. Foreign censorship is a huge issue for American tech companies everywhere. Solving it will save billions of dollars as well as our freedoms.

@CtrlPew2 This was an issue under Biden. We told the Biden Admin about it too. They did nothing. Even worse, not only did they not stop it, the Biden DOJ actually helped Europeans serve censorship orders on Americans. Under the Trump Admin, this practice has been stopped!
