imo $REKT is not easily replicable we are not the first consume to earn project in web3, and there’s a reason why 99% of them have failed it’s because 99% of projects start with a token before they even have an existing community this means that from the outset, you naturally attract people who are myopic and in it for a quite flip. it makes it really hard to have any longevity. our community has been built over 4 years, thru multiple ups and downs, bulls and bears. people have stuck around long before there were even any plans to have a token. this type of loyalty and following is impossible to build overnight, it takes years. i think what will happen here is cpg people will see us and think “oh we can do way better we’re an established brand already in stores let’s launch a token”. but at the end of the day, these lads are never gonna have a community of battle scars that you can only foster in crypto. don’t forget, as much as we talk about normie onboarding, you primarily need crypto-native people to believe in you and back what you’re doing, and coming from trad to web3 is often seen as just a cash grab by crypto natives (and that’s because 99% of the time it usually is). our drinks sell out fast not only because thousands of people believe in the vision, but because thousands of people minted a free rektguy, got free equity in @RektBrands, got a free $REKT airdrop, and have made a lot of money from simply just believing and supporting. again, these gains have taken years to accumulate and build. it is a real moat. i’m sure people will attempt to vampire us, create cabal coins etc and maybe they work, but they will never be able to replicate the REAL people we have in our community, the real experiences of losing money through a grim bear market, real experiences of meeting up in person, getting drunk, big nights out etc etc. my point is, to many who are not familiar with our story, this might seem like an overnight success…but it’s not. it’s literally been years of organically building a community with no real plan in place until the last year, and years of acting in good faith and building trust in a space that’s riddled with bad actors. i truly believe brand coins and and will be a major sector within crypto and i look forward to seeing more success stories, but the best ones should take a material amount of time to build, only then do you know you can truly trust the founders and that they have what it takes. anyone can do anything in a bull market but u gotta see how someone reacts in a bear market when their entire portfolio is down 90%, they lose 90% of their customers and revenues and it feels like crypto is totally over; u can’t be ballz deep until someone has proven to you they can survive and bounce back from that environment. this is our moat and we gonna keep fkn going. $REKT
