I talked with an NYPD officer about the prospect of Mamdani becoming mayor today. I think NYC will see a historic police shortage if Mamdani wins. He said I could share this: "We’ll all fuckin leave. I’ve talked to a lot of guys and we know he’s gonna hang us out to dry the first chance he gets. It’s bad enough now but it’s gonna be open season on us because the worst of the worst know they can get away with it if he’s mayor. Looting, assaults, murder, it’s all gonna get worse. Why stay when we can get jobs in safer places where we don’t have to worry about the mayor stabbing us in the back with his woke bullshit?" Not exactly a ringing endorsement!
