All rise! Judge: The jury has asked, Did the Gov't have to submit proof of the charges to get indictment? I don't think this is something they should be asking about. I propose to answer, You are not to consider how the US got the indictment

AUSA Rehn: We agree, and suggest you add, The US did present evidence to the grand jury - Judge: I don't want them to think that because the government presented evidence on venue to the grand jury, I don't think they should know

Update of 12:50 pm In otherwise empty Courtroom 110, four young adults are packing up binders from the defense table and taking them out. Judge Failla's noon proceeding, apparently a guilty plea, is not listed in today's Calendar on PACER Jury note watch continues
