bitcoin will likely be around for 100+ years. the bitcoin L2 that becomes the default rails for BTC will need to be around for decades or potentially centuries. that’s why we are calling the new stacks raise the stacks endowment. the name endowment signals longevity. much like an endowment like princeton, we want to maintain or grow the base capital over the years and fund growth initiatives in the ecosystem through earnings. this will take some years and will be the job of the CIO of the endowment. but this is the north star.
