I have a simple question about centralized exchanges: Currently, CEXs offer the best prices for on-ramps and off-ramps. So why aren’t they building their own on-/off-ramp APIs? Wouldn’t that be a great way to create a distribution channel for their products?

They probably want to own the user relationship, which is reasonable, but I’d still be curious to hear directly from CEX founders. I know you lead Base, but do you happen to know why Coinbase doesn’t offer this? cc @jessepollak
