Purely anecdotal I went back and looked at several dozen sol memecoins I've traded in and out of. Selecting days of historical price action randomly, I could only expect to "go to sleep" for 8 hours and "wake up" with the token trading at a higher price < 25% of the time... With some insane drawdowns included in the cases of loss that far outweighed the magnitude of gains.
