Today, the SEC launched 'Project Crypto': - The SEC aims to bring crypto activity back to the U.S with this new project - SEC to introduce clear rules for all kinds of onchain primitives - tokens, NFTs, stablecoins and more - Clear guidance will be given on what is a security and what isn't - Safe harbor for companies doing ICOs and airdrops - Allow trading platforms/exchanges to trade both security and non-security tokens (and do DeFi + staking services) - and much more This is all incredibly bullish and a complete change in strategy from the previous SEC. The SEC now wants crypto to win and win big!
