After 31 yrs, AOL is finally ending its dial-up service For many of us, it was our 1st trip online & made our computers more than just vectors for minesweeper I'll never forget the dulcet tones of the modem screech or the panic when someone picked up the phone But this shutdown is also a reminder that the internet has evolved and will continue to evolve AOL thanks for connecting us...eventually🫡
