We all have our differences, opinions, views, beliefs, and tastes in art. Sometimes we connect and sometimes we don't. We agree, we disagree. I find myself sharing a lot here on X, maybe a bit too much, but it’s where I’ve felt the most connected. Despite our differences, I believe we’re all striving for the same thing: a sense of purpose and happiness. Whether that’s through creating art, making money, building a legacy, or simply spending time with loved ones, we all just want to be happy. And I truly hope every one of you find that true happiness. Including me.

I’m all for artists sharing honest feelings and vulnerability. People tend to judge based solely on monetary results, without really seeing what artists go through to get to that point. Sure, some make a fortune while others barely make a dime. But we need to remember that we all started from the bottom, and everyone has a different timeline for success.
Isn’t art supposed to be about sharing and expressing? And not competing and comparing?
The only real competition is with our past selves. Sustaining is much harder than climbing. I’d say it’s a win when artists can share both the ups and the downs, not just the highlights.
