Since working in Lido, I can tell from experience that the industry's perception of Lido as this evil centralised entity that wants to capture all stake and control Ethereum: this viewpoint is totally misguided.
Lido folks are the MOST paranoid people who deeply and truly care about Ethereum and its values. And it's such an honor to witness this from my vantage point.

The Community Staking Module, the first permissionless way for operators to use @LidoFinance is on a path to grow 50% (up to 3% of Lido TVL) very soon. 3% is a whopping ~8560 validators (~274000 ETH)! With CSMv2 on the way, CSM can grow to 5% -> 10% (subject to DAO vote) by EOY.

are you guys ever gonna fix or deploy the old bridge contract ? (the one deployed on eth mainnet)
i got 55 eth stuck on the arbitrum side.
all it would take to get my eth back is for you guys to use the create2 function in your library with the original deployer address (your multisig), you deploy that bridge/smart contract on any chain (there's like 9 other chains with people's money stuck on it), and then you can finalize the stuck transactions/finish the deposits..
but instead you deleted every tweet that had any mention of that bridge, and then deprecated it.
