I want to address some false claims being spread about Infrared and $Zero. First, let me be clear: we are not the Zero team. We do not operate Zero or deploy any smart contracts for them. These are completely separate organizations. The Zero team reached out to us for support on emissions. After extensive due diligence, we identified them as a trustworthy team who brought real value to the ecosystem. They raised $400k of assets from other ecosystems and bridged over to Berachain. This brought net new users and total value locked to Berachain. Regarding bribes, yes, there have been some issues on their operational side with bribes. We are actively working with them to ensure more bribe consistency. This is part of helping new teams get established and operate smoothly. A responsibility we take seriously given our role in the ecosystem. We have mandatory reserve requirements for validators. There are times when bribes run out on their side during emission periods. They top up after these periods. But some people are taking screenshots during these small periods when bribes are down to make it look like Zero gets no bribes at all. This is misleading and does not show the full picture. I assume there may be other protocols that are not happy because we have said no to insider deals that would have prompted this exact response. By helping projects like Zero, we create long term value back to the entire Bera ecosystem. When new teams bring fresh capital and users to Berachain, everyone benefits. When we help streamline operations for emerging projects, the whole ecosystem gets stronger. We remain committed to growing the Berachain ecosystem responsibly. We evaluate each partnership based on the value it brings to our users and the broader community. We will continue to say no to deals that only benefit insiders at the expense of our community. The claims being made are false and appear to be motivated by competitive interests rather than genuine concerns about our operations.
