They say users don’t care about privacy, only institutions do. But why do institutions care? Sure, sometimes it’s about protecting their own trading strategies. But most of the time, it’s because regulation requires them to protect their users. And those rules exist because people expect privacy, even if they don’t always say it out loud.

Why use collaborative SNARKs instead of just MPC? We often get asked: if you already trust an MPC network for privacy, why put ZK on top? If there’s a trust assumption anyway, why not also trust it for correctness? 🧵
