in my soft era, as a young crypto founder, I asked: “why won’t anyone return my emails?” “should I move to portugal?” “touch grass, go to therapy, or pivot?” now I ask: “should this also be a token?” “can we airdrop our way to PMF?” “who do we need to bribe on crypto twitter?”

so much of human life is motivated by desire for scarcity -- status, money, power. we seek what few have. but our stated goals are often inverted: abundance for all. that contradiction contains most of human behavior, most of history.

continues to amaze how often i meet s/o senior in tech who’s still semi-suspicious of AI. meanwhile coding line by line, drafting perf reviews from scratch, sending simple q’s to lawyers who get back 5 days later w typos. like hauling water buckets past a functioning faucet.

Narrative drives price, and then price drives narrative

A lot of the digital art world is trapped in amber; caught in an era that no longer exists, with indefinite optimism for what brings it back. Respect for anyone building in ever- changing markets towards something sustainable.

The House just made history by passing major legislation on stablecoins (GENIUS Act) and market structure (CLARITY Act) in an overwhelmingly bipartisan way. This is a huge moment for crypto and for all Americans. We’re very close to having comprehensive, proactive rules in place for the first time. Next up: the GENIUS Act goes to the President’s desk for his signature. After that, the Senate should pass the CLARITY Act. We believe passing these laws is the best way to ensure that America remains the world leader in the next era of the internet.
