I was dancing with this older lady who has some crazy athleticism: spinning around the floor with eyes half-closed all while narrowly avoiding the other bodies, dipping low and then springing up just in time to fill the space where I was a moment ago, etc Zero premeditation of any "move" – there wouldn't have been any time for it Reminded me of the fluidness and spontaneity of, eg, a monkey darting from tree to tree, moving in a way that almost seems impossibly fast The woo idea that popped into head was that animals are adapted to sense into the future and then pick the Everett branch in which they've successfully executed the proper movement

I really need to figure out how to duplicate myself as a "superconnector"/switchboard operator. I want to honor my role but it's gotten too big for me, especially as my attention turns to more solitary pursuits like book-writing If there's any young person out there who is already a natural superconnector and wants to become like a supermegaconnector – esp if they're in NYC - you should send them my way, I want to train them to replace me! (Caveat: there are two types of superconnectors – ones who see people are objects and ones who see people as subjects. The latter will be someone who has lots of deep, loving relationships. This is the sort of person I'm looking for)
