I had a crazy woo idea pop into my head on the dance floor this morning. I was dancing with this older lady who has some crazy athleticism: spinning around the floor with eyes half-closed all while narrowly avoiding the other bodies, dipping low and then springing up just in time to fill the space where I was a moment ago, etc Zero premeditation of any "move" – there wouldn't have been any time for it Reminded me of the fluidness and spontaneity of, eg, a monkey darting from tree to tree, moving in a way that almost seems impossibly fast The woo idea that popped into head was that animals are adapted to sense into the future and then pick the Everett branch in which they've successfully executed the proper movement
